Dental Bonding is a good alternative to veneers. Bonding does the work of dental restoration if you are suffering from cracked, discolored, or chipped teeth.
HOW DOES DENTAL BONDING WORK?
The surface of the affected tooth is lightly etched and a bonding liquid is applied to prepare it for the bonding procedure. When the liquid has been set, the dentist will apply a plastic resin and mold it into the required shape. After the resin has hardened, it is trimmed, polished, and smoothed to give it a natural appearance.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
Dental bonding is usually completed in a single visit to our dental office. It can significantly improve the appearance of your tooth. The plastic resin used for the procedure is not as strong and durable as your original teeth. Hence it could stain, chip, or even break easily. Bonding usually lasts for three to five years before it starts wearing out.
